Under dark skies and Luna’s gaze
I pause, reflecting on my fate
for traitorous act condemned, to hold
the world of man upon my shoulders
I burn each day in Helios’ fire
to suffer Khione’s ire by night,
when men no longer think of us
power is lost for such as Zeus
Viva les Titans, hey!

Ah. I almost missed this fabulous poem, Bob. I’m assuming it’s in response to the speculative fiction challenge (?). If so, please leave a link in the comments on the original prompt post so I can reblog. No need to do that now since I found it, but perhaps in February? Thanks so much 🙂

I really do have a problem with links, pingbacks and such, I need a guiding hand

You can always pop over to one of my posts and paste your url link. For your poem your link is: https://bobfairfield.org/2019/01/24/the-titan-muse-photochallenge/
You can find it in the bar at the top of your page. Then I can follow it back to your post.
I just don’t want to miss it!

I will try and get it right next month, hopefully you will find something more to savour, assuming your prompt is as good
