A sweet little girl from Gwent

With me in my dinghy often went

She used to hold the tiller

And that seemed to thrill her

But that was as far as we went

Get protein from steak

followed by carbs in a cake

unhealthy diet

You know you should quit

each day a mouthful of grit

curse of the bottle

Bright sky in the East

Dawn begins her fight with Nyx

Eternal conflict

A sadistic bay,

of sound in the arena.

I do not understand why I have gained followers since I stopped posting on here due to the crap editing process, it’s not hacking but there must be another name for it, a sort of incentive scheme to resume I suppose.

Having ceased to write on WordPress I was relying on another site, I refer of course to poem pigeon, a solely poetry vehicle but sadly they have sent all of their subscribers an email confirming the closure of their website. Such sad news for all the new British talent who were used to showcasing their work on this little known but very readable window. So sad.

Having recently needed to change to some sort of freaky editor I have realised that there is no longer a way I can continue using this site. I assume that the powers that be consider that the new editor is the be-all and end-all of easier word-processing formats. They are wrong and I wish all my friends and followers, “Good Luck,” in the future and I hope you enjoy a great festive season.
