Crimson’s Creative Challenge #262 #Patience is a virtue

Under the log pile, within the sticks

a very odd looking creature sits

long of neck and short of limb

he hopes that none will notice him

for if he can catch an insect to eat

then he is sure of a tasty treat

but if he is spotted in his lair

be sure no creature will pass by there

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #261 #Sylvan stroll

Forsooth we strolled between the trees

no sound appeared there to be heard

no melodic calling of the bird

bushes tremble although no breeze

air cold though sunshine all around

fleabane, hemlock cover the ground

a place where sprites may take their ease.
