Crimson’s Creative Challenge #186 #Class distinction

I looked at the photo above and thought surely

a passage between the carriages there ought to be

so that in first class the gentry for tea could beckon

by some form of signal to their servants in second

and we all know tea should be not just warm but hot

so they wouldn’t need to wait for the train to stop

  1. That is a very fair thought. I think (I don’t know) there’s a concertina-type connection that can be attached to bridge that gap
