Yesterday I was walking down by the sea
and I noticed all the boats were out on the quay
so I asked a boat owner if he could tell me why
with a grin he said we’re waiting for the tide
I said to him thanks for telling me this
but I suspected he was taking the mickey

I have to say, I’ve not seen our river that low for an awful long time. There’s a houseboat along here, and it’s sitting all askew on the mud of the bank. We have drought, bad, here in Norfolk, and it began in January! But next week…RAIN!!!!
