Crimson’s Creative Challenge #211 #Ploughing a furrow

I have a little tractor

I ride on it all day

But if I asked my wife to do it

I know what she would say

Be off with you, you silly fool

You’ll not get me riding up there

I’m not interested in farmer’s tools

it would make a mess of my hair.

I’ve got work I must do here

  1. I’ve no problem with this. I know lots of women would respond the same. Not me. I have memories of driving a tractor, aged 11. I didn’t quite get it through the gate between stockyard and stackyard. Oops, there goes another flint-and-rubble built Norfolk wall.
