Sammiscribbles weekend writing prompt #242 Night ritual

At the end of every evening

before switching off the lights

I check on my household pets

and bid them all Goodnight

a tank containing goldfish

two cats and dog as well

I sometimes say it to my wife

or else she gives me hell
